Mysterious event essay

Peter had short blonde hair and was medium for his age, grade5, while his sister had long messy-blond hair and was about the same height as Peter. Something was wrong! Nobody was on the streets, the shops were closed, even the lolly shop (which never closed) was closed, and there weren't any kids playing outside in the streets!

1) Your character's husband/wife slips out of the house every night at two a.m. and doesn't return until morning. When confronted about this, s/he says only, "It's better for you not to know..." 2) Hidden in his or her house, your character finds what appears to be a voodoo doll in his/her own image...

Waking up the next morning, the children felt drowsy because they had stayed up all night. They went through with the daily routine, all the while thinking of the escape plan. When the aliens had gone to sleep at about midnight they went through with their plan quick smart.

Meanwhile Peter (trying to keep his cool) went over to the TV to see if the news had noticed these strange events. As they were watching the adds they thought they were the only ones that had noticd these stange events... then they saw the news report on TV...
